Megan Nicole Horan & Patrick Joseph Norton from Omaha, NE tied the knot on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the The Lodge, Breckenridge, CO. Their vision was an outdoor wedding in the mountains with a relaxed, laid back feel amongst friends that incorporated both nature and religion.

Professional photographer and long time friend of Megan and Pat, Brett Brooner flew out to shoot their wedding. Brett did an exceptional job of capturing the essence of the couple and the flavor of their wedding. As you can see from their photos, The Lodge at Breckenridge is a spectacular Wedding Destination year round. The time of year of their ceremony kicks off the change of the Fall colors further heightening the magical experience of being perched up high on the hill overlooking Mt Baldy and the 10 Mile Range.

To express their connection to their faith, Megan and Pat incorporated both the Corinthians before their vows and Colossians 3:12-17 as their closing reading:

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
