The allure of riding in a hot air balloon had been on Devyn and Keith’s bucket list for many years. Based out of Ohio, but with long time connections to the Aspen Valley, they dreamed of combining their love for hot air balloons, the energy and mystic surrounding balloon festivals and their Boho wedding theme in Carbondale, CO. The 46th Iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival Sept 10-12, 2021 set the scene for this bride and groom to see their dreams become reality.
Even before the couple officially booked their date, we connected them with Holly from Mountain Town Magazine and the Snowmass Balloon Festival event producers to help arrange a possible balloon ride and photo opportunities. The wedding ceremony and reception were held at their long time family friend’s home in Carbondale and Officiated by Summit Celebrant’s Alya Howe. With Covid- regulations still in full in effect, the wedding party was spaciously spaced. Kara Moore did an incredible job of artfully capturing this magical weekend including a personalized Classic Ceremony, celebration reception and several visits to the festival grounds to top off the already incredible autumn Colorado Destination Wedding.
